Saweetie responds to Joe Budden after the former rapper told her to speak on rumors she slept with Offset. Budden allegedly told Saweetie on an episode of The Joe Budden Podcast to “shut the f*** up” and speak about her sleeping with Offset.
Budden talked about Saweetie’s new song “Don’t Say Nothing,” on which she raps about a secret romance without naming any names. “Come on, let’s just get to it. I don’t got time to play today. Saweetie gotta shut the f* up. That’s my take…. I’m not listening to Saweetie until she answers the question everybody’s waiting for her to answer; Did you f*** Offset or not?”
Saweetie tweeted, “Saweetie needs to STFU????? ok Joelisha.”
“Is misogynistic behavior normal for HIPHOP culture now? Guess so,” she added.““Is misogynistic behavior normal for HIPHOP culture now? Guess so,” she added.

In an interview on the Bootleg Kev Podcast, Saweetie said that women are doing as well as male rappers.
“Women is running rap and hip-hop. There’s just so much violence and disrespect in the male music. You gotta think, like, remember, what was it, like ’16… ’17, remember when like YG, Tyga, Chris Brown, Big Sean, TeeFlii was out? It was fun, party music. It wasn’t like, ‘I’m a do this to you, and this, and this, you know? I feel like we gotta raise the vibration with the music and get back to having a good time. I feel like there’s definitely a lack of empathy and love, for real.”
