In a recent incident, rapper OJ Da Juiceman, also known as Otis Williams Jr., found himself in legal trouble, facing charges related to drug trafficking and possession of a firearm following a police chase in Coweta County, Georgia.
Reportedly, on March 4, OJ was pulled over for speeding, but instead of complying, he initiated a brief pursuit with law enforcement officers before eventually stopping. Upon searching his vehicle, authorities discovered cocaine and a 9mm handgun.
The 42-year-old artist was subsequently arrested and charged with several offenses including cocaine trafficking, possession with the intent to distribute, possession of a firearm, obstruction of justice, evidence tampering, and eluding police.
Currently, he remains in custody without bond, awaiting his next court appearance scheduled for December 25, 2024.
Following the news of OJ Da Juiceman’s arrest, fellow rapper Juicy J expressed support for his release, advocating on social media with the hashtag #FreeOJDaJuiceman.
