In a recent episode of his podcast, Shaquille O’Neal made an interesting comparison between himself and rap icon 50 Cent.
The NBA legend confessed that he drew inspiration from 50 Cent’s approach to handling conflicts when dealing with his own disputes within the basketball community.
During the podcast, Shaq humorously stated, “Every now and then, I find myself in NBA beefs with other players, and I always jokingly tell them, ‘Don’t mess with me, I’m the 50 Cent of the NBA! I’m telling you right now, you mess with me, I’m coming out with a mixtape.’”
Given 50 Cent’s well-known history of navigating through various feuds in the music industry, it’s no surprise that Shaq would make such a comparison. Reacting to Shaq’s remark, 50 Cent took to Instagram to share his thoughts.
In his Instagram post, 50 Cent didn’t directly address Shaq’s comparison but rather left a cryptic message that hinted at his appreciation for the shoutout.
