Rapper Boosie has some very strong opinions when it comes to the top five artists. Boosie says, “how can you put them in your top five, and they don’t even write their own music?
Boosies say that he has never had anyone write his lyrics. However, he did say that he may get a hook from someone if he really feels it. “You gotta have a fire hook, and I have to feel it,” Boosie added.
Rapper Sheek Louch, a member of The LOX and founder of D-Block Records also said that whoever writes your rhymes might as well hold your mic,” to which Boosie agreed.
“So you have to ask the world, why do we put them in our top five… ask all the world that. They wouldn’t be in the top five if they said that in 95′ that they got writers.”
“They would be Milli f***ing Vanilli, if they went on there and said that everybody wrote their sh*** free. They didn’t live through it to talk about it. That’s what makes me extinct from all these mutha f***ers,” Boosie added.
“Ni*** can’t write for me because they don’t know my story.”
