Shyne has spoken out against Diddy’s 2016 assault on Cassie after surveillance footage surfaced of the incident.
The former Bad Boy rapper, now turned politician, who served prison time in 2001 following a shooting involving his label boss, expressed his disapproval of the hip-hop mogul’s actions on social media.
“I strongly condemn the reprehensible actions of Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs as captured in the video where he is seen physically attacking Mrs. Cassie Ventura-Fine,” he shared on Instagram.
“Violence against women has no place in society. As a father to a cherished daughter, a global citizen, and the aspiring Prime Minister of Belize, I completely disavow individuals who perpetrate such despicable behavior.”
Shyne concluded by expressing solidarity: “My thoughts and prayers are with Cassie and all other victims who have bravely come forward with disturbing allegations against Mr. Combs.”
