Atlanta rapper Gunna, who has been in jail since early May after a 56-count indictment, was handed down to him and his other YSL members, will be released from jail after pleading guilty.
According to WSB-TV2, Gunna will be released after pleading guilty to a racketeering conspiracy charge. On Wednesday, the judge gave Gunna some good news. Gunna’s deal is all part of an Alford plea, in which he will plead guilty to one charge.
As part of his plea deal, Gunna will be sentenced to five years, with one in prison. The other four years are suspended and subjected to conditions, such as 500 hours of community service.
“While I have agreed to always be truthful, I want to make it perfectly clear that I have NOT made any statements, have NOT been interviewed, have NOT cooperated, have NOT agreed to testify or be a witness for or against any party in the case and have absolutely NO intention of being involved in the trial process in any way.”
