NBA YoungBoy, also known as Kentrell Gaulden, has encountered significant legal issues as he was arrested in Utah while under house arrest.
Records from the jail reveal that the Baton Rouge native was taken into custody by the Cache County Sheriff’s Office on the evening of April 16.
The charges against him are extensive and serious, covering various offenses including possession of drugs and weapons, as well as fraud-related charges such as identity fraud and forgery.
Specifically, YoungBoy has been accused of engaging in a pattern of unlawful activity, attempting to obtain drugs or prescriptions unlawfully, committing identity fraud, forgery, possessing controlled substances, and having a dangerous weapon as a restricted person.
YoungBoy’s arrest followed a thorough search conducted by multiple law enforcement agencies, including the FBI, Secret Service, and a SWAT team, at his residence in Utah.
According to officials, the charge of “pattern of unlawful activity” encompasses violations of Utah’s Controlled Substances Act, as well as statutes related to identity fraud and fraud.
This incident has prompted an ongoing investigation into potential further criminal activities. As of now, no bail has been set for NBA YoungBoy.
