In a recent incident at City Nightz nightclub in Wichita, Kansas, Sacramento rapper Mozzy found himself briefly detained following a shooting that occurred during an afterparty. The shooting resulted in seven individuals being wounded, with some even trampled, and one person currently in critical condition at a local hospital. Mozzy’s crew was also present at the event, but it was soon discovered that Mozzy himself had no involvement in the incident.
While initially taken into custody and handcuffed, Mozzy has since been released without any charges pressed against him, as reported by TMZ. However, one member of his crew has been charged in connection with the shooting. Although other crew members were detained, none of them are currently facing any charges.
This unfortunate event follows Mozzy’s release from prison in May, where he had served a 10-month sentence for a 2021 gun case. Recently, the rapper made a comeback with his first post-prison single, “10 Percent,” and in April, he unveiled his latest EP titled “Kollect Kall.”
