On Valentine’s Day, Lil Durk shared a touching message to India Royale, his child’s mother, but the post was later taken down. The message expressed his love and gratitude, stating, “Happy Valentine’s Day to the amazing woman who helped me become the man I am. I love you @indiaroyale.”
However, it appears that India wasn’t receptive to the gesture, as she seemingly responded with a message on Twitter, saying, “Let it go.”
“People really do not respect boundaries at all. I try me best to be respectful and not put on a show but people don’t respect my choices,” India wrote.
Lil Durk later posted a message of his own, which has also been removed, stating that he posted the message out of his own desire and not due to pressure from social media. He urged people to stop trying to provoke him and leave certain individuals alone. The message read, “I posted cause I wanted to the internet don’t run durk try the troll with another mfr leave certain people alone.”
