In the midst of an escalating feud between Pusha T and Jim Jones, Jadakiss has stepped in to offer some advice, emphasizing the importance of focusing on the music.
During an interview with Bootleg Kev at the 2023 BET Awards, the rapper from The LOX shared his thoughts on the verbal clash between King Push and Capo. The tension escalated rapidly after Pusha seemingly accused Jones of aligning himself with his rival Drake on an unreleased Clipse track.
“I don’t like the battles,” Jada said during an interview with Bootleg Kev at the 2023 BET Awards. “I’m not really vying for what’s going on with that. If it was supposed to happen, that’s cool, but I don’t like…It’s cool but it ain’t cool for me. I don’t like the matchup.”
He continued, “They both legends. It’s always dope when there’s no extra additives…if it stays like that and if there’s no lines crossed outside of rap, I’ll love it. Just keep it rap.”
Recently, Jim Jones took to Instagram to respond to the Clipse song that premiered at Pharrell’s inaugural Louis Vuitton show as the creative director in Paris.
Jones stated on Instagram, “That was not a Top 50 verse,” Jones said on Instagram. “Not at all. Still not in my Top 50.” He added in the caption: “Lol, that verse did not make the list champ it was cute.” Jones captioned. Following this, Jones released a dope diss track titled “Summer Collection,” in which he labeled Push’s brother No Malice as a drug addict.
“Inexperienced individuals like these two have no clue how to handle themselves,” he rapped. “Kanye gave you fancy cars, but that’s how they treat slaves. My Name Is My Name, but we haven’t witnessed anything yet. They’re talking about the arrival of the rapper, but we haven’t seen it,” Jimmy delivered his lines. The ongoing feud between the two artists allegedly originated from previous remarks made by the Dipset rapper, where he claimed that Pusha doesn’t belong in the Top 50 rappers’ list.
