Ja Rule expresses disappointment as the UK denies him entry for upcoming performances. The rapper took to social media platform X to share his frustration, revealing that the denial occurred unexpectedly, leaving him and his fans dismayed.
In a heartfelt series of tweets on Tuesday, Ja Rule lamented, “I’m so devastated I can’t believe the UK won’t let me in. I’ve spent a half million dollars in production of my own money to put this tour together only to be denied entry DAYS before my shows this is not fair to me or my fans these venues are 85% sold and now I can’t come.”
Highlighting the stringent entry policies of the UK, Ja Rule pointed out, “The UK is one of the few European countries that restricts entry to people with criminal records.”
He explained that individuals with certain criminal convictions, particularly those punishable by 23 months or more under British law or serving more than 12 months in prison, are likely to face entry denials.
Ja Rule’s upcoming performances, slated to commence on Friday, March 1, are now in jeopardy due to these unforeseen circumstances.
