In a joint statement, his daughters said: ‘Our father had many titles — King of Punchlines, Puerto Rican Superhero — but the most important one was Girl Dad. His strength, straightforwardness, and realism were his greatest gifts to us. We are at peace knowing our Dad is at peace.'”
