50 Cent and Desiigner are no strangers to controversy, but their latest exchange has taken their spat to a new level. While 50 Cent once considered signing Desiigner to a record deal, the “Panda” rapper now finds himself squarely on 50’s bad side.
The G-Unit mogul recently reignited their beef on Instagram, referencing his earlier decision to pass on signing Desiigner. On Monday (September 16), 50 Cent shared a clip of Desiigner’s infamous 2017 freestyle on Funkmaster Flex’s show, which left the Hot 97 host visibly confused.
Accompanying the post, 50 captioned it: “Sometimes you don’t have to say anything at all,” followed by an anguished face emoji, hinting at his disapproval.
Rappers like Bobby Shmurda, Slim Thug, and Loaded Lux couldn’t help but join in the fun, leaving laughing comments under the post. But Desiigner wasn’t amused.
The Brooklyn rapper quickly responded, taking aim at 50’s own history. He referenced 50 Cent’s dramatic weight loss for his 2011 film All Things Fall Apart in a post, sarcastically mocking the rap icon’s dedication to his role.
As if that wasn’t enough, Desiigner teased a new song with the lyrics, “Talking 50 Cent, I’m talking 50 mill,” making it clear that he’s not backing down.
He also shared a photo on his Instagram Stories showing 50 Cent giving the middle finger, flipping the Power star’s diss right back at him.
It looks like the beef between these two isn’t cooling down anytime soon.
