Chris Brown and Yella Beezy are at the center of a $50 million lawsuit following an alleged altercation at one of their shows.
According to TMZ’s report on July 22, plaintiffs Larry Parker, Joseph Lewis, Charles Bush, and Da Marcus Powell have taken legal action against the artists, Breezy’s associate Sinko Ceej, and Live Nation.
The lawsuit stems from an incident during Chris Brown’s 11:11 Tour stop in Fort Worth, TX, on July 20.
Bush alleges that he had a cordial interaction with Chris Brown backstage before one of the singer’s team members brought up past tensions. Chris reportedly responded with, “Oh yeah, we were. What’s up, n***a? I don’t forget shit,” before instructing his crew to attack Bush.
He claims that he was then surrounded and assaulted by seven to ten people, who punched, kicked, and even threw a chair at him.
Parker recounts a similar story, stating that Chris Brown directed Yella Beezy to assault him, resulting in further punches and kicks.
All four men claim they sustained serious injuries, necessitating extensive medical treatment. Tony Buzbee, their attorney, revealed that at least one of the plaintiffs remains hospitalized.
