Ten people were reportedly shot at French Montana’s video filming in Miami. Rapper Ced Mogul told NBC 6 Miami that French was filming a video for the new “Coke Boys 6” at a nearby KFC until someone got robbed, so they decided to change locations.
They moved the video shoot over to ‘The Licking’, where New Orleans rapper Rob49, whose real name is Robert Thomas, was one of the victims shot. The Licking is a restaurant that’s “Soul Food to the Stars.”
Montana’s security was able to get him to a safe place uninjured. Luckily there were no fatalities, but law enforcement sources told the paper that one of the victims was in critical condition.
According to Miami-Dade Fire Rescue, four injured people took themselves to the hospital, while six others were transported to a hospital by ground and air.
“We believe it’s an isolated incident,” Miami Gardens Police Chief Delma Noel-Pratt said.
