Yella Beezy recently found himself in the spotlight following a tense confrontation with a Caucasian individual who accused him of carrying a firearm.
In a peculiar exchange, recorded and subsequently shared online by the self-proclaimed Crip member, the duo faced off in a gym parking lot, exchanging verbal jabs.
The individual captioned the clip, insinuating Beezy’s reluctance to stow away his supposed weapon. “This individual refuses to disarm. Is this who you admire? He’s nothing but a coward. Long live Osama,” he penned alongside the video, showcasing the exchange of words.
Throughout the altercation, Beezy faced allegations of carrying a concealed firearm, though he chose not to directly address the accusation.
Beezy repeatedly challenged the individual to engage physically, cautioning, “I’ll knock you out.” Following the dissemination of the footage on social media platforms, Beezy shared an additional clip wherein he appears to strike the individual.
“Why didn’t he share this part?” Beezy questioned on X (formerly Twitter), adding, “He could have retaliated if he truly intended to do so. The alleged firearm he mentions was never brandished or accessed.”
Subsequent to the incident, the individual involved offered his perspective on the matter.
“I encountered him at Lifetime Fitness. I was alone, unarmed,” he explained. “I proposed a fair boxing match. We were in a public setting; I wasn’t about to resort to violence. I just completed my term with the Texas Department of Corrections; why risk returning? Let’s settle this amicably.”
