The tragic murder of 2Pac in 1996 has sparked renewed interest lately, and intriguing unreleased footage from moments before the rapper’s death has recently emerged online.
The recently surfaced video captures 2Pac outside a Las Vegas hotel on the night of September 7, 1996, surrounded by a group of women. The footage, released by The Walter J. Brown Media Archives & Peabody Awards Collection, offers a glimpse into the last moments of the All Eyez On Me rapper’s life.
After his interaction outside the hotel, 2Pac proceeded to leave the premises in his vehicle. Tragically, he became the victim of a drive-by shooting near the intersection of East Flamingo Road and Koval Lane, where he sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
Recent developments in the murder investigation have brought the case back into the spotlight. Las Vegas police executed a search warrant on a Henderson, Nevada home owned by Paula Clemons, the wife of Duane “Keefe D” Davis, who is the uncle of Orlando Anderson, the alleged killer of 2Pac.
During the search, police discovered various items, including laptops, hard drives, photos, magazine articles, and book manuscripts. Significantly, several 40. caliber bullets were also found, which will undergo forensic testing to determine if they are linked to the murder of the renowned rapper.
The emergence of this previously unseen footage adds another layer of intrigue to the unresolved mystery surrounding 2Pac’s death. With the recent developments in the investigation, there is hope that justice may finally be served for the late rapper’s tragic demise.
