Trick Daddy recently expressed his frustration over Sexyy Red’s snub at the BET Awards during an episode of his podcast, B*tch I Got My Pots. The Miami rap icon didn’t hold back, declaring that the “Get It Sexyy” rapper was unfairly overlooked.
“Sexyy Red, you got snubbed,” Trick Daddy stated, emphasizing her impact on the music scene. He noted how her tracks dominate club playlists and drew comparisons to his own early career struggles with industry recognition.
Trick Daddy also threw shade at Tyla, who won the award he felt belonged to Sexyy Red. “This isn’t an international award show,” he remarked, criticizing the decision.
Despite the snub, Trick Daddy believes Sexyy Red’s influence will endure. The rapper herself responded gratefully, saying, “Just saw this right on OG. Preciate dat fr.”
