The Lumpfish (Cyclopterus Lumpus), also known as the Lumpsucker, is a species of marine fish in the family Cyclopteridae (Lumpsuckers). The Lumpfish is the only member of the genus Cyclopterus, found in North Atlantic, Chesapeake Bay, and Spain.
Female Lumpfish reach larger sizes than the males. Males typically reach 12-16 inches in length, while females usually typically grow up to 20 inches. The largest specimen recorded measured 24 inches in length.
