The Game is gearing up to embrace fatherhood once again, and the rapper isn’t fazed by the idea of late-night feedings and diaper changes in his 40s. The 44-year-old artist, already a father of three, shared the exciting news during his appearance on the Tacos & Shawarma podcast.
When host Elle probed him about the circulating rumors of him expecting twins, the Compton native set the record straight, confirming he is anticipating just one child. “Twins is… yeah, you gotta stay off the internet,” he joked. “I’m expecting one child.”
Discussing his thoughts on being an older dad, The Game drew inspiration from fellow rapper JAY-Z. He noted that JAY-Z welcomed his eldest, Blue Ivy, at 42 and twins Rumi and Sir five years later.
“I’m 44, so when my new child is 21, I’ll be 65. And that seems kinda old until you start thinking about who’s 65 now,” he reflected. “I don’t know how old Mariah Carey is, but she has to be, like, 10 years older than me. Or JAY-Z or somebody like that.”
He continued with an optimistic outlook: “Their next big birthday is probably 60. They’re still out here looking young and looking cool, so it ain’t that bad. But at the end of the day, it’s new life.”
With this positive perspective, The Game is ready to dive back into fatherhood, embracing the joys and challenges that come with welcoming a new addition to his family.
