During a recent episode of Growing Up Hip Hop, Romeo Miller, known as both a television star and rapper, disclosed that he is engaged to his longtime girlfriend, Drew Sangster.
In a private conversation with co-host Angela Simmons, the 33-year-old made the announcement. Simmons initiated the conversation by inquiring about Miller’s daughter with Sangster and delving into their family dynamics.
Miller replied, “I keep my private life away from everything, but I’m an engaged man, Ang. When you have a kid, you have to do what’s right. I’m about to be somebody’s husband. You’re the first person to know that outside of the family.
Upon hearing the news, Simmons expressed her congratulations and conveyed that the announcement was as unexpected for her as it was for the show’s audience. She proceeded to inquire about the ring that Miller was sporting, noting that it was not the typical engagement ring. Miller clarified that it was his personal preference to wear that particular ring, but it had no bearing on his relationship with Sangster.
As previously reported by Sis2Sis, Romeo Miller and his fiancé Drew Sangster shared the news of their daughter’s birth in February of last year through a heartwarming Instagram post.
In the post’s caption, Romeo wrote, “It’s been hard to hold this in, but it was important for us to make sure our baby girl got here safe and healthy before making any announcements to the world during this sacred journey. Psalms 127:3 Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD, the fruit of the womb a reward.”
He continued by saying, “My great granny always said if you live long enough, you’ll realize that everything (and the best things) are on God’s time, never yours. The best Valentines ever. Been waiting for this moment my entire life. Thank you, @drewsangster. I’m a #GirlDad babbbbbyyy.”
