Rapper Rick Ross has hit a snag in his plan to host the second annual Rick Ross Car and Bike Show at his Promise Land estate in Georgia. According to XXL, Fayette County has denied him a permit to hold the event on June 3 due to non-compliance with zoning ordinances.
The county’s ruling came after some of Ross’s neighbors complained about last year’s car show causing heavy traffic in the area, with some even signing petitions to stop the event. However, Ross remains determined to go ahead with the show, even without the county’s approval.
In response to the permit denial, Ross took to his Instagram Story to announce that the show will still happen, emphasizing that it is a private event on private property with VIPs and inviting fans to purchase tickets online. He also expressed his love for challenges and his readiness to overcome them.
Ross’s Promise Land estate will host the car show, which is expected to feature performances from himself and Gucci Mane. Despite the setback, Ross remains positive and confident that the event will be a success.
If you’re a fan of Rick Ross or a car enthusiast, don’t miss the Rick Ross Car and Bike Show on June 3 at Promise Land Estate. Tickets are still available online, and the show must go on, even without the county’s permit.
