In a recent conversation with Complex, Rick Ross took a trip down memory lane, recalling an amusing incident that occurred during his visit to The White House in 2016. The incident involved the unexpected activation of his ankle monitor, which had been imposed on him the year before due to legal issues related to aggravated assault and aggravated battery.
Ross expressed his gratitude for the invitation from President Obama despite being under house arrest at the time. He shared, “I was invited by President Obama, and I appreciate him, and I was under house arrest at the time. We were in the setting, and I heard it go beep.”
In a comical twist, Rozay was seen on video humorously sliding down a sofa, attempting to conceal the embarrassing beeping sound. He recounted, “The Secret Service start moving because everybody gave away their phones, all their electronics. I’m like, ‘Damn.’ And then it went off, and Obama had to say something.”
However, Ross didn’t reveal the exact words spoken by President Obama during that moment, stating, “I ain’t gonna repeat it out of respect for Obama though. Thank you for having me there.”
