Rick Ross and Funk Flex recently discussed DJ Envy’s involvement in a real estate controversy during a broadcast on Hot 97. This feud, originating from their rival car shows, has taken a new turn with Envy’s connection to a real estate fraud lawsuit.
Rick Ross joined Funk Flex on Hot 97 to debut his collaboration with Meek Mill, “Shaq & Kobe.” During the show, they playfully poked fun at DJ Envy’s ongoing real estate issues.
The feud began with jabs about their competing car shows but escalated when Envy was linked to a lawsuit accusing Cesar and Jennifer Pina of deceiving investors, including Anthony Barone and Anthony Martini, into investing $1.5 million in Paterson apartments based on false promises.

Envy’s radio discussions about his real estate ventures and partnership with the Pinas added fuel to the fire. Despite being listed as a co-founder of Flip 2 Dao, Envy maintains he was not involved in the business.
Rick Ross and Funk Flex lightened the mood by joking about these developments during their radio appearance.
