Rick Ross, who kickstarted his music career at Def Jam and remained loyal to the label for an extended period, has recently expressed concerns about the label’s current state.
In a fresh interview with Rolling Stone, conducted to promote the upcoming collaborative album with Meek Mill, Ross was questioned about his potential involvement in a new Def Jam.
“I might have to do it. But Def Jam is damn near outta business, so it’ll have to be Maybach Music,” Ross wrote. “That was a cool-ass game, yo!”
