Dave Blunts is officially out of the hospital and making it clear… he’s never going back. The 23-year-old Iowa rapper, whose real name is Davion Blessing, took to social media on Tuesday (February 18) to share his release after another challenging hospitalization.
In a video posted online, Blunts could be seen being wheeled out with an oxygen tank, clutching a bag of his clothes in one hand and a bouquet of flowers in the other. Despite his health struggles, his energy was undeniable. “Yes sir! I made it out!” he proclaimed, celebrating his release. “It’s my first day out, last day in.”
The video ended with Blunts shaking hands with a security guard, assuring him he could walk on his own. In the caption, he declared, “DEMON HOME. First day out, last day in. I’m never going back to the hospital!”
Blunts later addressed his fans on X (formerly Twitter), revealing that this particular hospital stay hit harder than the rest. “This one was more devastating than any other previous hospital visit,” he admitted. “Because of my health, I haven’t been able to finish my album.”
As fans flooded his comments with support, the rapper remains determined to push through. With his sights set on recovery and music, Blunts is ready to leave the hospital behind and get back to what he does best.
