Rapper Cordae has embraced fatherhood with tennis sensation Naomi Osaka as they joyfully welcome their precious loveable baby.
As reported by PEOPLE, Cordae, and Osaka have entered parenthood as the esteemed four-time Grand Slam champion gave birth to their daughter in Los Angeles. Sources confirm that both the parents and the newborn baby girl are in good health and spirits.
TMZ also disclosed that the Grammy-nominated rapper openly shared his newfound fatherhood during a recent performance in Calgary.
In regards to the birth date and name of their child, Osaka, and Cordae have maintained a level of privacy. Osaka previously expressed to PEOPLE earlier this year that they are considering a unique and non-traditional name for their little one.
Back in January, Osaka publicly announced her pregnancy, alongside the decision to take a break from her tennis career for 2023. However, she reassured her fans that her ultimate goal was to return to the Australian Open in 2024.
Reflecting on her journey, Osaka shared on social media, “The past few years have been interesting to say the least, but I find that its the most challenging times in life that may be the most fun. These few months away from the sport has really given me a new love and appreciation for the game l’ve dedicated my life to.”
“I realize that life is so short and I don’t take any moments for granted, everyday is a new blessing and adventure. I know that I have so much to look forward to in the future, one thing I’m looking forward to is for my kid to watch one of my matches and tell someone, ‘that’s my mom’ haha. 2023 will be a year that’ll be full of lessons for me and I hope I’ll see you guys in the start of the next one cause I’II be at Aus 2024. Love you all infinitely.”
