Post Malone, the rapper, recently shared a candid story on Alex Cooper’s podcast, Call Her Daddy, about his proposal to his then-girlfriend two years ago in Las Vegas. The musician admitted that his inebriated state played a significant role in her initial rejection.

During a night of gambling, Post Malone confessed to losing a substantial amount of money at the table. Inebriated and not thinking clearly, he mustered the courage to propose to his girlfriend, whose name remains unknown. However, she declined the proposal, recognizing the proposal’s sincerity was clouded by his drunken state.

Recalling the moment, Post Malone humorously recounted, “I was like, ‘Hey, you wanna marry me? I got a ring and all this stuff.'” The 28-year-old artist acknowledged that his fiancée’s refusal was the right call given the circumstances. He playfully admitted that he may not be the best judge of romanticism.

Nonetheless, his then-girlfriend was gracious enough to give him a second chance. She suggested he ask her again the following day when he was sober. Following her advice, Post Malone mustered up the courage and clarity to propose again, this time in a more heartfelt and composed manner. The second attempt was met with a positive response, and the couple is now engaged, eagerly looking forward to their upcoming nuptials.

Despite the playful banter about his romantic skills, Post Malone expressed genuine excitement about their future together, sharing that the dance moves at their wedding would undoubtedly be a highlight.
