A 39-year-old Pennsylvania woman, Shannon Nicole Womack, is accused of impersonating a nurse using at least 10 aliases and multiple fake documents to land jobs in healthcare facilities across the state.
Authorities say Womack forged credentials, stole medications, and used several Social Security numbers to secure nursing positions through staffing agencies. She even created a fake LLC to support her scam.
Her scheme unraveled during a traffic stop, where police discovered over 20 aliases linked to her. Charges include identity theft, forgery, fraud, and endangering patient welfare.
