The Peacock is India’s National Bird and perhaps the prettiest bird in nature. Peacocks have long, beautiful feathers. They do a stunning dance when they raise their feathers. Male peacocks are referred to as Peafowls, and female peacocks are called Peahens.
Peacocks are known and adorated as sacred in India. In ancient times when a peacock lost a feather, the feather was used as a pen or for sacred rituals.
