Odell Beckham Jr. reminisces about a peculiar incident during his brief stay at Drake’s residence in 2016, revealing details of a startling break-in involving overzealous fans.
The NFL star shared this intriguing story on the latest episode of the Punch Line Podcast with Marlon Humphrey, posted on Monday, January 15.
While living at Drake’s house during the rapper’s 2016 tour, Odell Beckham Jr. found himself in a surprising situation when fans broke into the residence early in the morning.
During the Punch Line Podcast interview, OBJ vividly described the incident, emphasizing the audacity of the trespassers who appeared in his room.
“Somehow, these guys managed to find The Boy’s house and broke into it. They stormed into the room exclaiming, ‘We made it to Drake’s crib!’ Their socks were dirty as if they had crawled through mountains to get here,” OBJ recalled.
Despite the unusual intrusion, he tried to maintain composure, greeting the fans and even posing for a picture and giving an autograph.
Concerned about his safety, OBJ admitted, “I don’t know if they’re carrying something. I don’t know what it was. So I gave them the picture, the autograph, boom – kicked them out. Instantly called security, instantly called cops. But I’m talking about broke into his house! I’ll never!”
