Nicki Minaj has assured her fans that she is already planning to reschedule her canceled concert in England following her drug-related arrest on Saturday. The rapper took to social media to express her apologies and share her experience.
On Saturday night, Nicki posted a message on X explaining that she had finally reached her Manchester hotel after spending approximately six hours in an Amsterdam jail.
Nicki attributed the cancellation of her show to the actions of military police officers who arrested her for possession of “soft drugs” at Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport. She live-streamed the incident on her phone, asserting that the pre-rolled joints in question belonged to her security guard, not her.
In her message, Nicki claimed to have “sooooooooo much video evidence” of the airport incident and declared that her “lawyers & God” would handle the situation moving forward.
Addressing her fans, she said, “Please, please, please accept my deepest and most sincere apologies. They sure did know exactly how to hurt me today, but this too, shall pass.”
Nicki promised to announce a new date for the Manchester concert, speculating that it might take place in June or July.
Additionally, Nicki mentioned there would be a special bonus for all ticket holders of the canceled show, though she did not disclose what it would be. She also confirmed her scheduled performance at the Birmingham gig on Sunday.
Nicki was released from police custody after paying a fine of 350 Euros.
