Nas and 21 Savage flip the script on social media with their new song “One Mic, One Gun.” As you can remember, 21 Savage said that Nas was irrelevant in today’s music, which caused social media to go crazy. Fans of 21 Savage said they don’t know any Nas songs, and Nas fans said they don’t know any 21 Savage songs.
Well, it looks like Nas has learned how to change the narrative in a big way when it comes to controversy, by him and 21 Savage doing a song basically telling fans don’t buy into the hype.
21 Savage even said that he would never go against a legend like Nas, or any legend, because he has morals. 21 Savage said in the song, “I ain’t going against no legend, I’m trying to be next in line.” At the beginning of the song, he also added, “ain’t no back and forth, ain’t no left or right.”
Nas delivered the message so the younger generation could hear and feel the love that rap/hip-hop should represent. Nas ended the song by saying, “two Kings! We’re sending love to the whole culture.”
