N.O.R.E. has fired back at Dame Dash after the Roc-A-Fella co-founder took aim at both JAY-Z and the popular Drink Champs podcast while addressing serious allegations involving his former business partner.
During an interview with The Art of Dialogue, Dame Dash discussed JAY-Z’s legal troubles stemming from a lawsuit accusing him of sexual misconduct against a minor. In his remarks, Dash criticized Drink Champs and other media outlets for allegedly shielding JAY-Z’s reputation.
“He needs the ‘white media’ to save him now,” Dash claimed. “Drink Champs and Charlamagne [Tha God] can’t help him this time. He needs to be on People magazine and Entertainment Tonight because the pressure is mounting.”
N.O.R.E., never one to shy away from confrontation, quickly addressed Dame Dash’s comments on Instagram. He posted a pointed response on his Instagram Stories, writing: “Lame Dash, more clueless than Stacey,” a jab referencing Dash’s cousin Stacey Dash, who starred in the iconic ’90s film Clueless.
The “Superthug” rapper didn’t stop there. He also posted a video, delivering a direct message to Dame.
“You’ve been coming at me. You think I ain’t got time. I’m not like these other people. I got time,” N.O.R.E. said.
He continued: “No one’s trying to disrespect you. We’re trying to show you love, but you keep coming at everybody. If you’ve got beef with one person, keep it with that one person. But you’ve got beef with everyone around JAY-Z.”
Despite his frustration, N.O.R.E. expressed his respect for Dame Dash while calling out his behavior.
“You’ve turned into the ‘Lame Dash.’ And I say that with no malice. You became the chatty patty type of guy you used to call out. Get your life together. My number’s the same if you wanna work it out.”
