Moneybagg Yo faced an unexpected health scare, forcing him to end his performance at Mission Ballroom in Denver during the West Coast Takeover Tour last weekend.
The Memphis rapper, known for hits like “A Gangsta’s Pain,” took the stage on Sunday, December 10. Unfortunately, the show didn’t go as planned, with Moneybagg having to conclude his set earlier than scheduled due to an undisclosed medical emergency. Reports indicate that he arrived an hour late and performed for just 30 minutes.
Taking to his Instagram Stories after the event, Moneybagg Yo shared a photo of himself undergoing medical treatment, wires visibly strapped to his torso. In a heartfelt message, he apologized to his fans who attended the show, revealing that the concert had already been rescheduled from its original August 29 date after a previous cancellation.
“Denver, I apologize that I had to shorten the show,” Moneybagg Yo expressed on social media. “Y’all just don’t know what I went through to make it happen tonight.”
Despite the setback, fans and well-wishers flooded social media with support and concern for the rapper’s well-being. The incident adds an unexpected twist to Moneybagg Yo’s West Coast Takeover Tour, leaving fans eagerly awaiting updates on his health and the possibility of rescheduled performances.
