In the realm of hip-hop culture and its ongoing love affair with marijuana, Snoop Dogg remains an iconic figure. His influence extends worldwide, and he’s even been the go-to source for the greenery needs of individuals abroad, as comedian and actor Mike Epps hilariously recounted.
Epps recently made an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, where he shared a humorous tale from his trip to Iceland with his wife. In desperate need of some cannabis to enhance their Northern Lights experience, Epps had a thought – why not reach out to Snoop Dogg? After all, the legendary rapper was bound to have some connections even in the distant European country.
Epps narrated, “I was up there, and I needed some weed for the northern lights, and I called Snoop. I said, ‘Snoop, man, you know anybody up here?’ He said, ‘You know I do, cuz.’ He had a guy in Iceland. He sent me to the dude’s house, and it was in the ghetto. They got a hood”
He continued his amusing story, “And it was a little chunky white guy — he looked like Bam Bam from Flinstones. He had a ponytail on his head and a couple teeth missing — he was like, ‘Yeah, Snoop Dogg sent you?’ I was like, ‘Yeah!’… I called Snoop, and I said, ‘Man, the eagle has landed.'”
Snoop shared, “Well, last time I checked, I was the plug to yo plug; I’m the connect. You know, it’s good to have friends that have friends that, uh, you know, are international and global. They’re able to get you medicated and dedicated no matter where you at.”
Kimmel, in his typical style, playfully quizzed Snoop about his international connections, mentioning countries like Mexico, Ireland, India, Estonia, and more. Snoop claimed to have connections in these places, though he humorously drew the line at North Korea, admitting he couldn’t arrange for a weed delivery in that particular locale on short notice.
