An EasyJet flight from London turned chaotic when a passenger erupted into a violent outburst mid-air… and the intense moment was caught on camera.
Flight 609 had just departed Luton Airport early Sunday morning, en route to Glasgow, when the man emerged from the aircraft’s bathroom and began yelling disturbing threats. Startled travelers watched as he screamed, “Death to America! Death to Trump!” in the middle of the cabin.
Adding to the panic, he repeatedly shouted “Allahu Akbar,” a phrase meaning “God is most great” in Arabic, commonly used in prayer. However, in recent years, the phrase has also been misused by extremists… amplifying the tension on board.
Passengers acted quickly. In a moment of bravery, one individual stepped in and physically restrained the man, pinning him down until the flight landed safely in Glasgow.
Reports confirm there were no weapons or explosives involved in the incident. Former U.S. President Donald Trump was reportedly in Turnberry… about an hour from Glasgow… golfing at his resort at the time.
EasyJet responded to the alarming incident with a statement emphasizing that the “safety and wellbeing of our passengers and crew is always our top priority.”
Authorities are continuing their investigation into the mid-air scare.
