Ludacris brought a nostalgic twist to the Atlanta Braves game on Wednesday (September 4) when he threw out the ceremonial first pitch ahead of their matchup against the Colorado Rockies.
But the rap legend didn’t go it alone — he had some help from a pair of iconic oversized arms, straight from his memorable “Get Back” music video.
The rapper, known for his larger-than-life persona, sported the same massive prop arms that featured in his 2004 music video, much to the delight of fans. These hilarious yet familiar props added a unique flavor to the event, as Ludacris stepped up to the pitcher’s mound and successfully hurled the ball to home plate.
In addition to the entertaining first pitch, the Braves treated fans to a special giveaway. The first 15,000 attendees received an exclusive Ludacris bobblehead, making it a night to remember for both hip-hop and baseball fans alike.
Ludacris’ playful throwback and successful pitch added a fun, nostalgic vibe to the game, further cementing his status as an Atlanta icon.
