Lil Wayne was not going for the disrespect after an object was thrown at him while he was performing.
Wayne was performing at his show at Jacksonville’s VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena when someone in the crowd threw an object at him. Wayne stopped the show and told the crowd that he would not tolerate the disrespect, and if it continued, he would leave.
“This my first song,” he told the crowd. “If a n***a gonna be throwing shit at me, I ain’t gonna do another song, and I’ll get my ass right up out this muthafucka. It’s called respect. So like I said, if a n***a gonna be throwing shit at me, then I don’t respect that person.”
“If you know who that was that threw that shit, tell him I said fuck him and suck on a mutha***** d****. You little p**** b****! Throwing flags at me – n***a, that shit ain’t even real, f*** wrong with you? P**** mutha*****, let’s go!”
Wayne has always shown respect, so it’s only right that he be able to hold the crowd as he did. Stay safe out there, Wayne.
