Lil Baby is officially off the hook after his recent arrest in Las Vegas for carrying a concealed firearm without a permit. TMZ has learned that the rapper will not be prosecuted for the incident, which unfolded back in August.
According to legal documents obtained by TMZ, the felony charge against Lil Baby has been dismissed. The Clark County District Attorney’s office appears to have decided not to pursue the case.
The arrest occurred after police claimed to have seen footage of the rapper being handed a gun at the Encore Las Vegas resort. Officers investigated the situation, leading to Lil Baby’s arrest. At the time, he asserted that he had a concealed carry permit from Georgia, though Nevada law does not recognize permits from that state.
Lil Baby’s attorneys, Drew Findling and David Chesnoff, responded to the development, stating, “We’ll let the court record speak for itself.”
This decision clears the rapper of any legal consequences stemming from the incident, allowing him to continue focusing on his music career without further legal distractions.
