Kendrick Lamar’s highly anticipated performance at the Tecate Pa’l Norte festival in Nuevo León, Mexico, has been canceled, leaving his fans disappointed.
The artist was set to headline the event on the opening night, scheduled for Friday, March 29. However, just hours before he was due to take the stage at Parque Fundidora, Lamar withdrew from the festival.
The organizers of Tecate Pa’l Norte issued a statement, citing unforeseen logistical issues as the reason for Lamar’s cancellation. They expressed regret for the disappointment caused to fans and assured that the festival would proceed as planned despite the setback.
“For unforeseen circumstances due to logistical issues out of Tecate Pal Norte’s organization — we’re sorry to announce that Kendrick Lamar won’t be able to perform tonight at the festival.”
