Jeezy is cutting ties with his longtime management team… and taking them to court in the process! The rap star has filed a lawsuit against his former managers, accusing them of mismanaging his finances and profiting from his hard work.
According to legal documents obtained by TMZ Hip Hop, Jeezy is suing Solomon Fornie and Eddie Bridgeman, who he previously trusted to oversee his business affairs. The lawsuit claims the duo mishandled funds and withheld crucial financial records, leaving the rapper in a difficult legal position.
Jeezy’s professional relationship with Fornie dates back over a decade, culminating in the formation of their joint venture, Agency 99, to manage his earnings as a recording artist. Bridgeman’s firm, The SaiSai Group, was later enlisted to handle financial matters. However, Jeezy now alleges that Bridgeman was never a licensed CPA, raising serious concerns about how his money was managed.
By late 2024, Jeezy says he had enough and attempted to cut ties with both Fornie and Bridgeman. But instead of a smooth transition, he claims they have been stonewalling his efforts by refusing to provide key financial documents. Without access to these records, the rapper argues he is unable to comply with Georgia law regarding Agency 99’s dissolution or reinstatement… forcing him to take legal action.
Now, Jeezy is demanding the release of all financial records and seeking damages for the alleged mismanagement of his earnings.
As of now, none of the parties involved have responded to requests for comment. Stay tuned for updates on this developing legal battle!
