Brooklyn, NY – Lyrics by legendary rapper Jay-Z have made a striking appearance on the façade of the Brooklyn Public Library, adding to the anticipation of an upcoming exhibition dedicated to the music icon.
Captivating footage emerged earlier this week, showcasing verses from JAY-Z’s illustrious repertoire, including tracks like “Hovi Baby,” “Sweet,” “Encore,” “Justify My Thug,” and “Smile,” inscribed on the library building in the style reminiscent of a newspaper article.
In preparation for the highly anticipated JAY-Z exhibit, the Brooklyn Public Library will be temporarily closed on Thursday, July 13, with doors set to open to the public the following day, Friday, July 14, according to a report by Hell Gate.
This exhibition promises to be a truly immersive experience, serving as a “personal shrine to JAY-Z himself.” Notably, it will feature a recreated version of Baseline Studios, the recording studio co-owned by Jay-Z and Juan Perez. Known for his exceptional lyrical prowess, Jay-Z’s verses have been widely acknowledged as exemplifying excellence in the genre, notably featured prominently in his 2010 autobiography, Decoded.
