According to sources with direct knowledge, TMZ reports that actor Jamie Foxx suffered a “medical emergency” on Tuesday morning and was rushed to the hospital. His family, some of whom were out of town, reportedly arrived at the hospital as his condition was serious. One source revealed that Foxx is now able to communicate, which is a positive sign.
However, Foxx’s daughter, actress Corinne Foxx, posted a medical update on social media on Wednesday, stating that her father’s condition was a “medical complication” and that he was already recovering. She thanked everyone for their prayers and asked for privacy for their family during this time.
It is still unclear how Foxx discovered the complication or whether he had any symptoms that led him to seek medical attention. It is known that he has been working in Atlanta on a film called “Back in Action” with co-stars Glenn Close and Cameron Diaz.
