In response to unfounded rumors circulating online, Jada Pinkett Smith recently addressed allegations concerning Will Smith and Duane Martin engaging in inappropriate behavior in the past. The speculations emerged when Brother Bilaal, a former friend and assistant of the Fresh Prince, claimed to have walked in on a private incident involving the two actors.
During an appearance on The Breakfast Club on November 15, Jada Pinkett Smith refuted these claims and disclosed their intention to pursue legal action against Bilaal. She dismissed the accusations as ridiculous and clarified that they stemmed from unsuccessful attempts at extortion by Bilaal.
“It’s ridiculous,” she began. “This is a person that tried a money shakedown that didn’t work. We’re going to take legal action because it’s one thing to have your opinion about somebody versus just making up salacious, malicious stories.”
Highlighting the context of strained business dealings between Smith and Bilaal, Jada emphasized that the entire matter is rooted in personal vendettas rather than any factual basis. In discussing her estranged husband’s response to the situation, she commended Will Smith for maintaining a sense of humor despite the seriousness of the accusations.
“Here’s one good thing about Will. He’s always going to find the funny, y’know what I’m saying? You just got to laugh about it.”
