The age-old feud between Ja Rule and 50 Cent continues to fuel headlines, with Ja Rule reveling in the backlash surrounding 50’s Las Vegas residency.
A recent critique has deemed the G-Unit rapper’s show as potentially “the worst” Sin City has ever seen, and Ja Rule didn’t miss the opportunity to join the conversation.
The buzz started when Vegas influencer Vegas Star Fish shared a video that quickly went viral, harshly criticizing 50 Cent’s residency.
The clip, featuring snippets of one of his performances, painted a less-than-flattering picture of the show’s production quality, sound balance, and overall energy.
“I’ve seen 50 Cent perform in warehouses in Memphis, TN (where I’m from) decades ago, and it was pure magic,” the influencer wrote in the Instagram post. “His limited-time residency in Las Vegas was the opposite of that.”
According to the review, poor sound engineering made it hard to enjoy the music, while the rapper’s hypemen overshadowed the performance with loud and distracting echoes.
Even the stage design didn’t escape criticism, described as looking like it was pieced together last-minute using a “ChatGPT prompt for ‘90s hip-hop images.’”
As expected, Ja Rule didn’t hold back. Known for their long-standing beef, the former Murder Inc. artist found joy in 50 Cent’s apparent stumble.
He took to social media to subtly mock the Queens rapper, fanning the flames of their infamous rivalry.
While Ja Rule didn’t explicitly name 50 in his post, fans quickly connected the dots, making it clear he was delighting in the negative publicity surrounding his adversary’s show.
The harsh critique has sparked debate among fans, with some defending 50 Cent, pointing out his history of electrifying performances.
Others, however, agree with Vegas Star Fish, saying the residency feels rushed and uninspired.
Despite the controversy, 50 Cent hasn’t directly addressed the critique, but his ongoing feud with Ja Rule ensures the topic remains a hot one across social media.
