Renowned music producer Irv Gotti, known for his collaborations with Ja Rule, Ashanti, and DMX, is making strides in his recovery after a minor stroke, according to recent reports.
The news surfaced through hip-hop figure Wack100 during a podcast episode on Monday. Wack100 revealed that he had been in contact with a stroke recovery center about Gotti’s condition, claiming that the producer had suffered a stroke.
However, a representative for Irv Gotti clarified to TMZ that the stroke occurred over six months ago, following years of battling diabetes. Since then, Gotti has significantly improved his health through dietary changes and is reportedly fully recovered.
The rep confirmed that Gotti is no longer in a rehab facility but is at home with his family, enjoying life.
Wack100 also shared a photo from the recovery period, showing Gotti using a cane and noted the producer’s significant weight loss. Despite these challenges, Gotti’s ongoing recovery and lifestyle changes have contributed to his progress.
