Ice-T and Boosie Badazz share a warning message for all rappers visiting L.A. Boosie, and Ice-T understand just how violent the streets can be, and Ice-T being from there entrenched in the gang culture only makes it hit harder.
L.A. is home to where gang culture originated. Gang culture in the early days was mainly there to protect the community but slowly turned into what it is today. Sadly, we all know that drugs played a significant part in that.
After rapper PNB Rock was shot and killed while eating at Roscoe’s Chicken and Waffles in L.A. a few days ago. L.A. native Ice-T posted on his social media account, “I’m done explaining LA Gang culture. MFs will not listen. It’s not a game.. At all.”
Boosie posted, “Every time u n LA KEEP YOUR GUNS N YOUR FINGER ON THE TIGGER!! BE READY TO SHOOT AT ALL TIMES!! KEEP YOUR HAND ON YOUR GLOCK (no safety) N SHOOT SOON AS YOU SEE HARM R ANYONE SUSPICIOUS!! They will rob n kill u ITS THE RAP MURDER CAPITAL #LA tip: to everyone lost they life n LA.”
Ice-T, during the super bowl, wrote the same type of message warning all rappers, “SuperBowlWeekend: Not a threat, just a Warning, Young Rappers coming to LA for the Super Bowl Weekend. LA has over 50 Thousand ACTIVE Gang members. Make sure you play it SAFE. It’s the Wild Wild West.”
