FOX10 News reports that on Thursday, July 25, HoneyKomb Brazy, whose real name is Nahshon Terral Jones, pleaded guilty to a federal charge of being a felon in possession of a firearm.
As part of the plea deal, both his legal team and federal prosecutors have suggested a prison term ranging from two and a half to three and a half years.
The final decision, however, rests with U.S. District Judge Kristi DuBose, who is set to announce her verdict on October 25.
This plea deal is connected to an incident from December last year, when a Mobile County sheriff’s deputy stopped HoneyKomb Brazy and two men claiming to be his security team.
This event is the latest in a series of legal troubles for the rapper, who has faced multiple charges over the years.
