In a recent Instagram post, Gucci Mane’s former girlfriend and collaborator Mac Bre-Z made serious allegations against the Atlanta rapper, accusing him of past domestic violence and unpaid royalties.
The post, shared on Monday (November 4), also suggests Mac Bre-Z’s contributions to Gucci’s music have gone uncredited, a situation she’s determined to change.
Mac Bre-Z, a rapper who previously worked alongside Gucci Mane and was signed to his label, expressed her frustration about not being compensated for her songwriting and collaborative input.
Sharing a throwback photo of the two together, she captioned the image, “You loved collaborating with me on your albums & mixtapes. But I would love to get paid for my writing credits.”
She went on to question Gucci Mane’s reputed personal growth, challenging him to “do the right thing” and provide her the financial recognition she claims is owed.
The Instagram post also included accusations of physical abuse. Mac Bre-Z alleged that during their relationship, Gucci Mane punched her in the face—a moment she refrained from speaking about publicly at the time.
“I never did a tell-all & exposed any stories about your personal life over the six years we were together,” she wrote. “When you punched me in the face, I could’ve snitched & had you arrested while you were on bond for the murder case of Jeezy’s artist.”
According to Mac Bre-Z, the incident she referenced took place during a live performance in 2005. The alleged altercation was caught on camera, showing a heated exchange where Gucci Mane attempted to remove her from the stage and then struck her.
Mac Bre-Z revisited the painful memory in a 2022 interview with The Progress Report, saying, “A lot of people made light of the situation… but if somebody punched your mother, sister, or cousin, you wouldn’t have the same energy.”
In her latest post, she hinted at possible legal action to secure what she believes is her rightful compensation: “Enough is enough. Time’s up. I’m coming for what’s rightfully mine. Respectfully.”
While Gucci Mane has yet to respond publicly to the accusations, the rapper has notably moved on in his personal life. Since 2017, he has been married to Keyshia Ka’Oir, with whom he shares two children.
Their high-profile Miami wedding was even televised on BET’s The Mane Event, showcasing their journey leading up to the big day.
The latest revelations by Mac Bre-Z have stirred attention across social media, raising questions about unresolved issues from Gucci Mane’s past and adding a new layer of controversy to his legacy.
